Of course, I failed to read the very apropos fine print that says &quot;zomg use your real name, fewl.&quot; This is a good rule for this site, I support it; the last thing Glottopedia needs is a bunch of random crappy trollers screwing with the information.<br /> <br /> But since I try (with some measurable degree of success) to keep my netname and my IRL name somewhat separate, rather than connect them now, I'll just abandon this username in favor of my real life name account. Well, crap. <br /> <br /> I love languages. I've always known I loved words; as a child, I loved to read for the sake of moving my eyes over the black squiggles on a white page and being transported to far and distant lands of history or adventure. I thought for over ten years I was fated to be a novelist. That maligned goal has faded from life, with a great deal of distress, but now I'm free, in a sense, to pursue other paths. At least, that's the hope.<br /> <br /> I have a Bachelors of Arts, and my majors were English Creative Writing and German language. I also have just enough Japanese to know better than to try to do anything with it : p.</div>
