==Geschichte der Glottopedia==<br />

Glottopedia wurde am 27. Mai 2007 begonnen. Sie entstand durch die Verschmelzung von zwei früheren Projekten mit sehr ähnlichen Zielen, [http://www.uni-trier.de/uni/fb2/ldv/ldv_wiki/index.php/Hauptseite WikiLingua] an der Universität Trier (seit 2005), und [https://lingweb.eva.mpg.de/linguipedia/index.php/Main_Page Linguipedia] am Max-Planck-Institut für evolutionäre Anthropologie in Leipzig (seit 2006). Nach dem offiziellen Start der Glottopedia sind diese beiden Projekte nicht mehr aktiv.<br />
