All Glottopedia articles should be categorized, as in [1]. All category names are in English, Glottopedia's default language.
There are three classes of categories (A-D). Each article should belong to one category of the classes A, B, and C angehören (multiple categorization is possible in class C).
Category class A: Languages: The language in which the article is written (two-letter abbreviation according to ISO 639).
- Category:En (English)
- Category:De (German)
Category class B: Article type
- Category:DICT (Dictionary articles)
- Category:BIOG (Biographical articles)
- Category:LANG (Language articles)
- Category:SURV (Survey articles)
- Category:LING (Research articles)
Major categories can be assigned using templates.
