Resultative secondary predication is a type of secondary predication which is interpreted as consecutive to the main predication. It is predicates a property of a participant in an event, which is seen as the result of the event decribed by the main predicate.
Examples

The vase fell to pieces.
Fred was knocked unconscious.
The barn had been painted green.
