Dativization
Revision as of 11:41, 20 February 2009 by Wohlgemuth (talk | contribs)
Dativization is occasionally used for dative movement. A verb is said to be dativizable (especially in English) if it can undergo dative movement (e.g. throw: She threw the ball to me/She threw me the ball, vs. whisper: She whispered the solution to me/*She whispered me the solution).
